Rebellion against God is never good. If we are not careful, rebellious thinking can lead us into serious sin. There are many ways to justify rebellion, one of them is by looking at historically beneficial times of rebellion, but not all actions are equal. One of the key reasons for the newly formed government of the United States was the fact that they were forced into resistance. The English had soiled their leadership and gone in a wrong direction; the colonies were falling into slavery for the English empire. Those who felt the failure of the king formed a government to rule the people – America was born. The lessons of history can all too often be turned into reasons to rebel against anything that is hard for people. Remember: Sometimes life is not easy. The pride of rebellion is always
wrong, according to the Bible.
