Arrogance is a major problem. It’s a human problem. When we read history, it is there. When we look around in our world today, it is there. When we look inside our own hearts and minds, it is there. What does it mean when we see the very attitudes that God stands against in our
history, culture, and lives? It means we need God’s help! Following Jesus Christ means putting to death our pride and arrogance and following Him as our LORD. It also means telling the truth to a culture that doesn’t want to hear the truth. Arrogance hates the truth. It would rather redefine it. But as Christians we cannot have time for that sort of foolishness, we need to bring our lives into the light of Christ and allow Him into every corner of our hearts. Today, we’ll read about a time when Christ talked about arrogance, and how to deal with it.
