"The gospel is the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished!' And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit"" (JoHN 19:30). God did not simulate death, He allowed Himself to be cast into death. There were several things that the LORD did in the afterlife that gave Him the perfect and absolute right to undo what man, God's own
creation, had done many years before. Satan, the devil, is the one Jesus Christ defeated. We live in a world today still troubled by the evil one. But those who accept Jesus Christ and follow Him as LORD have the authority and power through God's Holy Spirit to overcome satan's schemes of lust, pride, and vanity. In Isaiah 14, we read about satan,
and in today's reading of Ezekiel 28, we read a mysterious passage about our enemy as God speaks to the king of Tyre. Learning about satan is challenging but good. We must not befriend him but know that we have conquered him through Jesus Christ.
We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
From social issues and apologetics to theology, history and science, our mission is to educate, edify and encourage the believer to actively engage with God's Word in all ways."
