Children; Matthew 16-18

Sometimes Jesus taught His disciples about the Kingdom of Heaven in unusual ways. When the disciples asked Jesus who the greatest was in the Kingdom of Heaven, for example, Jesus had a child come and stand in the middle of them all. Jesus knew where the question was coming from. The disciples seem to have been positioning themselves for places of physical power and influence
in the Kingdom. So, Jesus answered them, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and
become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever
humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (MATTHEW 18:3-4).
Jesus wasn’t talking about acting like a child in the sense of childish behaviour, undisciplined and
untrained, He clearly meant the humility that comes from being a child—dependence on others for
your life, to teach you how to live, etc. Jesus knew that humility is the only path towards godliness.
He also took the opportunity to teach them that kindness toward children was appropriate and
that they should be welcomed in His name.Bible Discovery TV - The Daily Show (2024) - September 2024. We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.

Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Preparing for this specia...

Hypocrites; Matthew 22-23
In Matthew 23, Jesus uses the word hypocrite to describe the scribes and Pharisees. This was not a compliment, by any means! The word hypocrite is derived from a Greek phrase meaning to interpret or to play the part. It was often used to describe what an actor would do on stage to perform. In Jew...

Be Ready; Matthew24-25
One of the most important messages for us is that the LORD is coming back soon. We should make ourselves ready for the return of the LORD, living each day as if it is the day of His return. I do not believe that the Biblical end times is a set of allegories, nor do I believe that we have any just...
