Season 7, Episode 4

The longer I live, the more I am finding out that Jesus Christ is the answer to all our problems. All other answers fail. Sin is a deep, dark hole that none of us can escape from. It affects us and infects us. Isaiah 50 tells of the ways that Jesus Christ has worked to free us from the ravages of
sin, and to free us from the judgment that sinning heaps upon us. Only in Jesus can we find true forgiveness, rest, and hope. Listen to this beautiful verse from our reading: “The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary” ( I SAIAH 50:4A, NKJV), or as the ESV words it, “…that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary.” Forgiveness, rest, and hope are found in Jesus.
