The uniqueness of Christianity truly rests in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Very few people try to deny that Jesus Christ existed as a historical figure, but many people do deny that He rose from the dead. This is because accepting Jesus’ resurrection from the dead would also mean accepting His divinity and the incarnation as a whole concept. In other words: If Christ truly
rose from the dead then He is the Son of God. That miracle would be a holy stamp of approval on His life, teachings, and ministry. Christ’s resurrection is supposed to be challenging; it is a miracle, it is not normal! It is unusual, unique, and precious to those of us who accept it as true. In 1 Corinthians 15, we read about how important the resurrection is. All Christians must accept
it. Let’s really think on this as we read what Paul wrote to the Corinthian Christians.
