Hard Work; 2 Timothy 1-4
Season 12, Episode 1

Hard work is not something that we always look forward to, in fact, we often try to avoid it. However, Paul the Apostle told his disciple Timothy to expect hard work when it came to living for Jesus Christ. The Christian life is not an easy one. We have to apply the Word of God to our everyday lives, and on top of that, we have to work to make the message of Jesus Christ available to everyone who will hear it. It is sometimes very difficult, but it is also amazing work to do and witness being done. God is our ever-present help, and in 2 Timothy 2 we see Paul giving a message of encouragement and help. Paul’s words in 2 Timothy are probably the last written words of his, at least the last recorded in the Scriptures. They are powerful and straight to the point. 2 Timothy 4:22 concludes with, “The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.”
