THE RED SEA MIRACLE 2 continues to investigate the biblical account of Moses and the Israelites trapped at the sea by Pharaoh’s army when God miraculously parts the waters, rescuing the Israelites and destroying Pharaoh and his chariots.
In this second film of the two-part series, Patterns of Evidence’s award-winning filmmaker, Timothy Mahoney travels to the lands of the Bible and speaks to leading scholars about how and where the miraculous parting of the Red Sea took place. Through epic recreations and 3D animations, THE RED SEA MIRACLE 2 dramatically retells the biblical account and carefully examines the evidence. Have exodus explorers really found bones and chariot wheels from Pharaoh's army on the bottom of the sea? Scholars take two very different approaches to answer the question of the Red Sea miracle. One approach sees the parting of the sea happening on a small scale and caused by natural forces. The other approach sees this as a spectacular miracle that can only be explained by the power of God. Was this really a deep sea split supernaturally with high walls of water on each side or was it a shallow reedy lake where wind pushed the water back in a process known as wind set down?
Minds will be stirred and faith will be inspired as Mahoney reveals two decades of documentary research that leads him to inquire if miracles still happen today. Can a pattern of evidence be found to shed light on these issues?
