Not all Biblical prophecy has been fulfilled; there are several significant times still predicted. God does not lie; His Word can be checked historically, and so we can have confidence that these prophecies will come to pass. The Day of the LORD is one such future event during which God will reveal Himself to the world. There will be no more need for apologetics, no need for defending Christ – He Himself will rule. While most will follow His leadership, there will still be those who do not. Stubborn and rebellious as ever, humanity will be given every chance to get right with God and follow Christ. Even still, in the end, some will not. When an attack is launched on Jerusalem, God will step in. In anticipation of God’s final fulfillment of His Word, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. God will make Himself known one way or the other.
