"God told Moses that he would not enter the Promised Land because he had mishandled His authority given to Him by God. How did he mishandle it? When Israel complained that there was no water, God gave Moses specific instructions to gather the people together. He was to speak to the rock and it would give them water before their eyes. Moses became impatient and angry with the people and ignored God’s instructions and struck the rock twice. The result of his disobedience was that he could not go into the Promised Land with the new generation of Israel (NUMBERS 20:8-12). When Joshua was put into place as the new leader of Israel, much work still needed to be done. In Deuteronomy 31, we witness the personal goodbye of Moses to Israel. Here, we see Moses not only warn the people but also encourage and commend Joshua in His calling, “And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed” (DEUTERONOMY 31:8).

No Peace; Joshua 9-11
There will never be any lasting peace until Jesus Christ returns. The LORD will return to the earth at some point in the future to rule and reign for 1,000 years. We read about this in Isaiah 60 and Revelation 20, as well as several other places in the Bible. Personally, I do not believe that Chr...
