If you are a Christian, and have surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, then your life is priceless! Your life is to be shared with everyone who is near you. Eternal life is a big deal! We are told not to ignore our new life but to share it. This is our testimony about the work of Jesus Christ: That we repent of our sins for the gift of eternal life. Eternal life begins now! But that does not mean we will be perfect when we first repent. Perfection comes when the LORD comes to visibly rule on the earth as it is in heaven. At that time, those who did not repent for their sins will suffer
the consequences of their life choices. And the scary truth is, no one will get away with evil and injustice because the Lord Jesus is the perfect Judge. He will make sure that all those whose names are not written in the Book of Life, who chose not to believe in the only begotten Son of God, will ultimately pay for their sins. This brings us to the point of confidence in the flesh, which is exactly what Paul writes about to the Philippians––do not rest your faith in something that perishes.
