"There is no question that King Solomon was industrious. However, he was preoccupied with building the LORD’s Kingdom as if it was his kingdom. From the beginning of his reign, Solomon was intimately involved with constructing Israel into a world power, that is before his heart was turned away from God. 2 Chronicles 4 should remind us that God
cares about the details of His work. In other words, when our work becomes His work, God is immediately involved in it. We must keep ourselves focused in the construction and development of God’s Kingdom work. This is very important because it is part of our eternal purpose.
What we do now on this earth prepares us for what we are assigned to
do for eternity.
