"When someone enlists in the military and prepares for battle, he does not think about living in luxury or setting up to enjoy himself. How many soldiers enjoy fighting in battles? We often forget that believers are in a battle every single day. The battles we face today seem even more real than ever before. As believers we must prepare, we must prepare ourselves for the battle of Christian warfare. The LORD Jesus Christ has already won the war, but His followers are responsible to win the battles. God’s Holy Spirit has given each believer special giftings, spiritual weapons for the battles ahead, which are not physical but spiritual in nature. Ephesians 6 reminds us of the LORD’s vast strength and how we can be strengthened by Him. He has also given us spiritual armor that we
must put on daily to help us stand and be strong in the LORD, no matter what comes our way.
