God calls each of us to a unique task. He has purposes for all of us. Unfortunately, there are many who choose to go against His call. All too often we make life all about ourselves. We tirelessly look for ways to make life better for us. What if there’s more than this? What if we can help others discover God? It is worth considering that the call of God is not just for us; like Jeremiah, we too are called to speak with people, to be a witness to them. There is deep meaning that God can impart into our lives if we let Him.
In this first chapter of Jeremiah, we read about God’s call on Jeremiah, and his response. Here, there is insight for purposeful living.
