Hollywood has been famous for inventing new forms of entertainment, and it seems we are rapidly coming to an end to that invention. Many in the new generation are giving up on the so-called answers that this world offers. They are all fleeting and fading dreams with no real or long-lasting meaning. The longing for something with real meaning has drawn many to the pages of the Bible. The best way to discover who we are and why we are here is by understanding who the real God is. In Deuteronomy 8, we learn that God knows all the things that we long for. In fact, He created us to have them. In Deuteronomy 8:2, it says, “And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.”
