Season 8, Episode 2

04-Aug-2025
God chose to design each one of us with free will. As we can see through history, humans have often chosen poorly. Still today, on the public stage and in our personal lives we make mistakes and live with the consequences of those decisions. For the follower of Jesus Christ, we must decide each day what we will do. Will we live our lives to please God, or ourselves? In our
reading today we are focused on the messages given to the prophet Ezekiel. He set righteous living in front of the people in ancient Jerusalem who were living wrongly. They needed to make a choice. God was adamant that those who chose sin would be responsible for their own destruction. God does not judge unfairly. He is just and He is merciful, let’s stay on the right side
of that mercy through submission to God in Jesus Christ.
