"Most people love the attention of man. Some do crazy things to attract attention. We have been taught through life experience that a great way to grab and keep attention is to say or do something popular or spectacular. What television, radio, internet, or live event does not consider the audience with their likes, needs, and wants? We all battle to stay relevant and keep audiences. Prophets from ancient times also competed with audiences to gain their attention. Problems would arise however, when a message that God gave was not popular. What would happen if a message did not serve the audience’s desires and instead confronted them about their lifestyles? The Word of God does this to us regularly. It is not only comforting, it is confrontational. When we read the Bible we are forced to consider changing the way we think and process our ideas. We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
