offerings given to God every seventh month were a big part of Jewish culture. The Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles offerings were made on the tenth and fifteenth day of the seventh month. The Jewish New Year was at the beginning of the Feast of Trumpets, which was held on the seventh month, also. The way they would announce the arrival of the New Year was by the blowing of the trumpets (or shofars), which was accompanied with offerings given to God. What is most interesting is that sacred offerings were related to sacred times. Time and seasons are measured by numbers and unify our ways on earth. God places ways for His people to mark their space in time through events dedicated to God.We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
From social issues and apologetics to theology, history and science, our mission is to educate, edify and encourage the believer to actively engage with God's Word in all ways."
