"As followers of Jesus Christ, we often say things to each other that only we understand as Christians, but these statements may not make sense to those who are not. A good example of this is when we say that we live for the LORD'. What do we mean by that? Explaining our lifestyle or hope in God is hard in a world where the only hope is in our human condition. Yet the hope of the Christian is not in this world but in the future to come through the LORD Jesus Christ. We need to learn how to communicate better to this world what we mean by the next world to come. This speaks about our eternal life, which begins now. Many do not know how the next life will look, or feel, or be like, but believers in Jesus are given much to live for and think about now. How we live in this world affects how we will exist in eternity. In Romans 12, Paul addresses the church in Rome, and us today, about how we should live our lives before God, how to live with
each other and in this world now.
