"In every human life there are circumstances outside of our control, and, too often, we believe that these events just happen by chance. But God is not like us, He is so much greater, He understands us better than we understand ourselves. He can make beautiful even the worst of circumstances. In our reading of Jeremiah 32, we learn that during one of Judah's darkest times and when Jeremiah was in prison, the promise of a bright future was given. Jeremiah was given symbolic evidence by God that Israel's future would be good. Jeremiah would be offered the right of redemption for a family property in his hometown. on one hand, the people of Israel were told to seek peace and live in the land of their captivity, Babylon. on the other hand, God was saying that they would later occupy their own land again. God sees all of time, from beginning to end; God exists outside of time. Nothing is over, until God says it is over.
