How can you truly know someone if you don't spend time with them? The LORD promised us that He would meet with us, if we make the time to get together with Him. For Christians, this time with God is critical for our existence; we daily meet with the LORD, by prayer or by reading His Word, to gain substance for our survival in a world that is against us. When we are born again, we are a new and changed people. This world is filled with sin and is motivated by selfishness. But the follower of Christ Jesus is newly-born into a walk of selflessness and hope. Ultimately, we do not depend on anything in this world to motivate us. We are promised by God to live forever. Also, when two or more are gathered in His name, whether in worship, Communion, praying or learning together, Christ is among us. Both individually and communally, internally and externally, God is present. So, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the obedience to our LORD Jesus Christ, God will support and strengthen us together. But
He can only strengthen us together when we all take the time to meet with Him daily.
