God's Storm; Job 37-39

I have experienced several tornados and hurricanes in my life. I’d really prefer not to ever experience those kinds of storms again. They are very loud and very lethal. While some are quick, others endure for a few days. But one thing is for sure, they are all destructive and devastating. No one truly desires to endure a storm! In Job 38, the Bible says that the LORD answered Job out of a whirlwind. In Hebrew the word for storm is “sa’ar”. God presented His answer to Job from the storm asking him over eighty
questions. God’s answer to Job was not from a calm, quiet whisper or a still voice, but was from the power of a storm. All the pushing and shoving Job had endured from his friends and foes alike was nothing compared to the storm of God. The LORD struck fear in Job and said, “Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge?” (JOB 38:2). When you speak empty words, you sow the wind, and when you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind (HOSEA 8:7).
