Legacy Conference 2025: Divine Dilemma
Wrestling With the Question of a Loving God in a Fallen World
Why do death, disease, and suffering exist in this world if there is a loving God? Secularists often use the existence of death and suffering to mock belief in a loving Creator God, and Christians can also find it to be a terrible dilemma. Is God truly loving, as the Bible says? And if he is, why does he allow death, disease, and suffering to continue in this world—for both Christians and unbelievers? Is death the end? Is it okay for Christians to struggle with these questions and the emotions they evoke?
This is one of the most common and earnest questions asked of Ken Ham, and in this presentation he deals with the issue directly yet sensitively. Using personal examples from within his own family, Ken opens up about his experiences grappling with this difficult topic and shares the ultimate solution found in God’s Word.
