When Christians say they are building the Kingdom of Heaven, or the Kingdom of God, those listening might wonder what in the world they are talking about! In the world today there are several different forms of governments, some of them good and some of them bad. There are
also all kinds of leaders within those governments. We know all too well how easily leaders can be corrupted, how quickly they seem to be alright with deception. Our systems of government bring issues that we have to deal with in the here and now, but there is another kingdom! One
that we contribute to building right now, and that we will have full participation in later: The Kingdom of God. Not ruled by men, but by God Himself, when God’s absolute authority will be recognized by all.
