"While Jesus’ life and teachings have already come to earth, and so been revealed to us, there is a part of Jesus that hasn’t yet come to fruition. One day, human hearts and actions will be judged by Him. Revelation 19 talks about Jesus bringing the wrath, the judgment of God to the people of the earth (REVELATION 19:11). This is a much different picture than Jesus’ first mission to earth painted for us, isn’t it? Right now, we live in a time of grace, God is allowing those of us who will come to Him, to come to Him! Eventually though, this time of grace will be over, and the time of God’s judgment and new creation will come. True Christ followers will not suffer the wrath of God that Revelation 19 speaks of, ""For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him"" (1 THESSALONIANS 5:9-10). Amazing things that we can thank God for.
