"Life is so much more than what happens to us. To explain this statement, we need to think about how Jesus Christ changes our lives after we come to Him and give our lives to Him. Let me be clear here, Christians learn to order their lives and make their decisions based on the moral constrains of Scripture. So, we don’t lose control of our lives, our lives begin to resemble Christ’s as we choose to follow His morality. In this way we can say that we aren’t the masters of our own lives, we have given moral authority to God. God isn’t the author of chaos or confusion, He is the Creator, the originator of order and knowledge. We see this kind of reasoning play out in 2 Corinthians 4. As we give control or lordship over our lives to Christ, things change for the better.
