"One of the reasons the Bible is considered to contain the voice of God is because of its amazing prophecy. Its ability to foretell certain and specific events centuries before they happen. God is above time, He knows the beginning, the middle, and the end of all things. He created time and space. Some people have difficulty believing this, in fact, it seems to me that a lot of people will believe in anything but God. When we ignore the evidence all around us because of our own preferences or because of the hardness of our hearts, we will not win. It is one thing to critically think, this is good. Thinking deeply about issues exercises our minds and our faith, and we will become more convicted to live for God. It is another thing to be skeptical for skepticism’s sake. When we lean into our hardness of heart, we will only become more hardened, deadened to spiritual reality.
