"When someone we know is in trouble and they share their pain with us, do we have to tell them the reasons why they are suffering? When the friends of Job first came, they sat with him for a full week before they said a word(JOB 2:13).Were they just biding their time or biting their tongues? Either way, their curiosity for why Job was suffering must have been eating away at them. They were so troubled by the horror that they found Job in that they inevitably felt that they had to speak to his situation. They needed to keep him from talking and complaining. But is that really what Job needed? Job did not call his friends to come. They came to him on their own. Too often we speak when it would be better not to. The Bible speaks to the follower of Christ and says, ""Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep""(ROMANS 12:15). We would do well to listen to the instructions we are given in the Bible, to listen and pray silently when the time comes. Silence speaks volumes. We are a family-run international ministry with television, print and online programs designed to guide you through the Bible in one year.
From social issues and apologetics to theology, history and science, our mission is to educate, edify and encourage the believer to actively engage with God’s Word in all ways."
