"The opening address in Deuteronomy 32 to heaven and earth makes it known that all creation should listen. What Moses says here is important: God's Word is not just for religious people, it is for everyone, even the generation of people living in the end of time. The Song of Moses is sung and heard once again in Revelation when the saints are in heaven (REVELATION 1 5 : 3 ). The song contrasts worshiping the perfect “Rock” who delivered them from bondage, against pride, idolatry, and false worship. Moses explains the purpose of the song at the end: “Take to heart all the words by which I am warning you today, that you may
command them to your children, that they may be careful to do all the words of this law. For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess” (DEUTERONOMY 32:46-47). We, too, are called to live for God and spiritually possess the land to grow God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven."
