The last words of Revelation 22 are both encouraging and sobering. We are told that Christ is coming quickly, and that we should be ready. We are also told not to take away or add to the words John had written. Revelation was accepted probably around AD 98 as the Word of God. In the last 2,000 years, this special book has changed the way we look and think about God and His promise to come again. Let’s hold fast to Christ’s promise, “Surely, I am coming quickly!” We conclude the Bible, and a year of going through the entirety of God’s Word, with these final words, “The grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (REVELATION 22:21). Now, may the LORD bless you and keep you, may the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you, may the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace (NUMBERS 6:24-26). See you next year!
