A recent survey conducted by the United Kingdom Bible Society asked men and women ages 18-24 if they attended church. They discovered that only 4% attended church in 2019, but the number of attendees grew to 12% in 2024. Church attendance had increased by 8%. To further understand the trend, they asked questions about why more young people were returning to church. The results were staggering. The concept of a meaningless, empty life was not taking root in the next generation. The mere thought that God created all things meant their life was not accidental or coincidence, and it moved them to search for Him. Nearly three thousand years ago, King Solomon was confronted by similar beliefs and life choices. After realizing the
meaninglessness of life without God, he concluded Ecclesiastes with a profound and truthful admission, “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil” (ECCLESIAST E S 1 2 : 1 3 - 1 4 ) .
