"What is your vision for your life? What is the vision of this business? Of that ministry? But what is God’s vision? What is it that He has for His people? In our reading today, God was finally going to honor His promise to Abraham and enable Abraham’s descendants to take the Promised Land. Spies were organized by the Israelites and sent into the land of promise but they came back with a bad report! The task of takeover seemed impossible. Only two of the spies offered a good report, Joshua and Caleb. The damage was done though, the people of Israel were convinced that God had brought them to Canaan to be killed! They
were wrong. God reacted to their apostasy in anger, and yet still found a way to be faithful to His promise to Abraham. As believers in the LORD Jesus, the proper response to a potentially disastrous situation should be to take heart and rejoice because we know that God is faithful. We must always respond in faith and avoid responding with doubt.
