"Jesus Christ came to be among us in a unique and unusual way. He was born into a family of low influence, not having economic power or priestly respect. God’s plan was that His only begotten Son be born of a virgin through the Holy Spirit. He was fully man and fully God. As Jesus began His ministry, the uniqueness of His teachings and miracles were
evident to all who were around Him. As the word spread about Jesus, multitudes of people would come to hear His teachings and bring themselves and others to be healed by Him. A Gentile woman came to Jesus and asked Him to deliver her daughter from demonic forces, but Jesus replied to her by saying, ""Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs"" (MARK 7:27). With that answer many of us would walk away insulted and discouraged, yet she persisted and pushed back, ""Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs"" (MARK 7:28).
It was because of her response that Jesus fulfilled her request.
